The industrial revolution 4.0 or disruption era had positive and negative impacts on human life. Education is important to prepare human resources according to change, including physics education. Physics teachers must facilitate learning that supports the achievement of physics content and competencies needed in the disruption era and character education. Implementation of physics learning can be integrated with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and model of IBMR (Investigation-Based Multiple Representation). The characteristics of this lessons have the potential to complement the competencies needed in the industrial revolution 4.0 and character education.
