PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR PADA MATERI PECAHAN KELAS IV BERBASIS PENDEKATAN OPEN-ENDED UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENALARAN SISWA DI SD KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

The background that drives this research is that the 21st century demands the characteristics of students who have learning and innovation skills, namely those related to problem-solving abilities and aspects of reasoning abilities. This type of research is Research and Development. The subjects of this study were teachers of SDN Pandean Lamper 02 Semarang, the data techniques in this study were obtained from observations and questionnaires. Results From the results of the preliminary study the researcher has made a product, with the evaluation of material expert validation in stages 1 and 2 amounting to 83.3% and 90.5% with good and very good categories. Meanwhile, the assessment by media experts at stages 1 and 2 was 84.4% and 91.5% in the good and very good categories. Then at the product trial stage that has been carried out, the material assessment by the teacher obtained an average percentage of 95.2% in the very good category, while the media assessment by the teacher obtained an average percentage of 91.5% with the very good category. . The conclusion is that textbooks are acceptable and suitable for use as textbooks in the mathematics learning process in grade IV. Based on the results of this study, the suggestion that can be conveyed is thatmaterials in Class IV fraction materials based on anapproach open-ended the teachingcan be used by the teacher as a medium in the learning process.
