https://conference.upgris.ac.id/index.php/EconBiz/article/view/6590

Entrepreneurship is one of the essential things for the economy in a country to increase the success of development in a country. However, college graduates look for jobs that match their field of expertise, and only a few become entrepreneurs. Students classified as Gen Z have great potential to move into the entrepreneurial sector. Therefore, Gen Z is the main target in developing entrepreneurial interest in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of Self-Efficacy and Social Media on Entrepreneurial Intention, with Digital Business Education as a mediator. Self-efficacy triggers the emergence of individual trust in becoming entrepreneurs; social media influences entrepreneurial interest. Digital Business Education is seen as a mediator variable in the relationship between variables. This study is an ex post facto study with a quantitative research approach and a causal correlational design. The study subjects were Economic Education students who had taken Digital Business Education. The results of the analysis show that self-efficacy and social media directly influence digital business education; entrepreneurial intention is directly influenced by self-efficacy. However, it was found that Social Media and Digital Business Education did not directly influence Entrepreneurial Intention. Digital Business Education as an intervening variable does not have a role in mediating. Other factors need to be explored further to determine students' entrepreneurial intentions.
Aan IkhsanantoNina FarlianaTeguh Hardi Raharjo

https://conference.upgris.ac.id/index.php/EconBiz/article/view/6511

New Hasella is a type of MSME engaged in home convection, where New Hasella itself has become one of the largest convections in Pakalongan Regency with distribution spread across the cities of Solo, Yogyakarta and Surabaya. New Hasella Convection has partners from local residents who collaborate in the production process in the sewing section. However, with the limited income they have, partners must look for alternative businesses to be able to increase their income, namely by utilizing Shopee live as a promotional and sales medium. The results of this study are that the use of Shopee live is an effective and efficient alternative business opportunity because in addition to partners being able to connect with consumers at large, partners also get additional income. In addition, with this business, not only partners benefit, but New Hasella also feels an increase in income. So that mutual prosperity is achieved between New Hasella and partners. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source that the researcher conducted in this study is using primary data with a data collection method using Focus Group Discussion (FGD).
Tutik S.Pd. M.Si

The 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections (Pilkada) in Indonesia have garnered significant attention on social media platforms, especially Twitter. This digital space serves as a vital arena for citizens to voice their opinions about election candidates, policies, and the overall electoral process. This research aims to evaluate the impact of various data preprocessing strategies on sentiment analysis regarding the 2024 Regional Election. The implemented preprocessing steps include text normalization, stop word removal, tokenization, and stemming. These techniques are pivotal in enhancing the accuracy of sentiment classification. In this study, two vectorization methods—TF-IDF and Count Vectors—were employed to assess the effectiveness of Random Forest classification models in distinguishing between different sentiments expressed. The findings reveal that preprocessing markedly improves model accuracy, with TF-IDF achieving a 79.02% accuracy rate and Count Vectors attaining a slightly higher rate of 79.72%. The sentiment analysis identified that the majority of the detected sentiments were positive (67.7%), followed by negative (26.4%), and neutral (5.9%). This analysis underscores the essential role of data preprocessing in refining sentiment analysis and provides insightful perspectives on public sentiments towards the 2024 Regional Election in Indonesia.
Asro AsroEka Purnama HarahapPatah Herwanto Patah HerwantoAgus Sulaiman

https://conference.upgris.ac.id/index.php/EconBiz/article/view/6602

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are crucial to Indonesia's economy, driving growth and job creation. However, they face challenges like limited market access and inadequate digital skills, which hinder their competitiveness. Selecting the right marketplace is essential for MSMEs to enhance their presence and optimize operations. The Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method provides a structured approach for evaluating marketplace options based on criteria such as operational costs, user-friendliness, features, customer support, and transaction security. By applying the ARAS method, MSMEs can identify platforms that best meet their needs while maximizing overall value. This evaluation offers clear guidance for MSMEs in choosing marketplaces that foster growth and sustainability in the digital economy. Ultimately, ARAS enhances decision-making for Indonesian MSMEs, enabling them to succeed in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.
I'tishom Al Khoiry

https://conference.upgris.ac.id/index.php/EconBiz/article/view/6564

This research investigates the impact of economic growth, renewable energy consumption, and energy use on CO2 emissions in South Africa, utilizing the Fully Modified-Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) regression approach for the period from 1990 to 2020. The findings reveal that economic growth is positively associated with CO2 emissions, indicating that economic expansion leads to increased emissions. Additionally, renewable energy consumption is modestly negatively correlated with CO2 emissions, suggesting that a rise in renewable energy use could help mitigate emissions. Conversely, energy consumption exhibits a direct positive relationship with CO2 emissions, highlighting the critical need for improved energy efficiency. This study offers significant insights into the complex interactions between economic growth, energy consumption, and renewable energy in relation to CO2 emissions, emphasizing the necessity for a holistic strategy to combat climate change by integrating these factors effectively.
Elma Yoencha ThineSherin AlifahKuni Al-MustanirohAnggita AditiaNurtsaniyah Octaviani

https://conference.upgris.ac.id/index.php/EconBiz/article/view/6530

The high potential of fishery resources in Ambon City has contributed to the community's habit of consuming fish, both in fresh and processed form. The most famous processed fish in Ambon City is smoked fish (locally known as ikan asar), whose production center is located in Galala Village. Smoked fish processing is classified as a home industry-scale business. Therefore, limited resources require arrangements that can optimize their use and solve the problems faced in the processing business. This article discusses the potential and conditions as well as problems faced in the development of smoked fish processing businesses, empowering fishermen to develop independent and sustainable smoked fish processing businesses. The results show that there is a lot of fisheries potential in Galala Village, but the weak development of smoked fish business is due to limited access to capital and management, no training to support smoked fisheries processing, especially in the application of sanitation, hygiene, good packaging and durability, no business expansion or development, weak networks and business partnerships and not intensive assistance and supervision. Empowerment of smoked fish processing fishermen is carried out in a participatory manner by considering the potential, problems and needs of fishermen business owners.
jeanete talakua

Hence the findings of this study would be benefited for the apparel manufactures which used both LM and AM for improving their business performances and to select a suitable method from either. The study has used secondary data which were collected from single plant to analyze the impact of the independent variables of production cycle time (delivery), defects per lot (quality), manufacturing cost per lot (cost), and changing product style (flexibility) on the dependent variable of business performance which was measured using the indicators of total production, customer complaints, and Return on Investment in both LM and AM environments. Findings were revealed that there was no significant difference of the average total production in LM and AM environments. Since AM can maintain the identical in the average total production while satisfying the customer requirements with wide selection of production quantities, moving towards it may increase the business performance. Moreover, the chance of making defects in a garment was low in AM environment as multi skilled workers and innovative machines were used in there. The average defects per lot were low in AM environment compared to LM environment. Also it was found that there was no difference between manufacturing cost between LM and AM environments. Finally it can conclude that the selected apparel manufacturer can improve its business performance by moving to AM. Furthermore, by producing flawless apparel to suit the changing needs of the customer and delivering it in a short period of time, the manufacturer would be able to enhance the business performance by delivering higher customer satisfaction.
E.J. https://conference.upgris.ac.id/index.php/EconBiz/article/view/6566

Sustainable development is an important thing that has an impact on the future needs. Electric vehicles are mainly due to the depletion of fossil fuels and rising fuel costs, public awareness and desire to combat climate change, technological advances and commercial effectiveness of renewable energy technologies, advanced technologies of electric motors and drive systems, and advances in supporting sustainable development. In order to gain a comprehensive view of sustainable development and electric vehicle (EV) technology and understand the current research emphasis, this study evaluates the most relevant themes related to those topics through bibliometric analysis using the keywords “sustainable development” and “electric vehicle” as input. The Web of Scopus database was used as it is considered ideal for bibliometric analysis. The VOSviewer software was used as a bibliometric analysis tool to visualize the network of authors, countries, journals, and keywords. The analysis conducted in September, 2024, retrieved a total of 5,418 documents. The subject area of the documents comes from environmental science and economic fields. The results show that for 30 years, the number of publications on SDs and EVs has grown non-significantly. The keyword analysis shows studies on SDs and has focused on EVs topic. Research on this topic can be developed in the future by adding relevant keywords such as those in clusters that intersect with the main cluster. There are several groups of researchers studying the relationship between electric vehicles and sustainable development with expert contributions and perspectives. China is the leading country in this topic research, contributing the largest number of publications in the world. The bibliometric analysis presented shows the publication trends of those topics and provides relevant information on the main themes studied about sustainable development and electric vehicles.

Keywords: electric vehicle, sustainable development, bibliometric analysis, Vosviewer

Athiyyah Rofifah SalsabilaLutvia Restu PutrianaKhafidzah Sausan SakhillaAhmad Adam
