Abstract

This study aims to describe how the expressive speech in the movie Milea: Suara dari Dilan , directed by Fajar
Bustomi and Pidi Baiq, looks like. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The
results of this study in the form of expressive speech acts are also found in films that are seen from the players. Film Milea:
Suara dari Dilan, directed by Fajar Bustomi and Pidi Baiq, is a film that contains expressive stories and depicts the lives
of teenagers. Based on the results of research on the film Milea: Suara dari Dilan director Fajar Bustomi and Pidi Baiq,
there are several forms of expressive speech acts including expressive speech acts that describe feelings of happiness,
curiosity, fear, joking, sadness, confusion, surprise, anger, concern, and be grateful.
