THE MORAL VALUES FOUND IN THE MAIN CHARACTERS OF THE MOVIE OF WRECK-IT RALPH TO BUILD STUDENTS CHARACTER

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the moral values of the main character in the Wreckh-it Ralph movie and to build students character who can be taken from this movie. This research applied descriptive qualitative research. It means do not need a statistical approach to explore the material. The research subject of this research was the main character in the Wreck-it Ralph movie known as Ralph. The data of the research were the scene and scripts conveyed by the main character consisting of the moral values. Qualitative research is searching for data in writing or orally. There are several moral values contained in the Wreck-it Ralph movie. From the analysis, it can be conclude that there are brave, never give up, talented, confidence, competitive, optimistic, struggle, Friendship. From this research, it is also hoped that students can build character by applying the moral values contained in the movie to be applied in their daily live.
