This study examines the moral values in Niki Caro's Mulan (2020) film. This study has two objectives: to identify moral principles in Mulan and to identify the most prevalent moral values in Mulan. The researcher employed a descriptive qualitative research method in conjunction with a library research approach, since the researcher incorporated library data, as well as books and other publications, as additional data sources. While the study's objects are divided into two categories: the material object is Niki Caro's Mulan (2020) film, and the formal object is the film's moral ideals. The researcher acquires data through documentation. The researcher analyzes the data using Linda and Eyre's 1993 theory. The findings of this study revealed eight distinct moral ideals in the Mulan (2020) film, divided into two groups. Sincerity, boldness, self-reliance, and potential are all examples of moral ideals of being. Loyalty and dependability, respect, love, selflessness and sensitivity, compassion and friendliness are all examples of moral traits associated with donating. The most important moral value is courage, as it appears frequently in the Mulan (2020) film.
