Menghadirkan Wisata NTT Dalam Genggaman Dengan Progressive Web Apps

The development of web technology has had a positive impact on the tourism industry. In the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), tourism is one of the main sectors that has the potential to grow rapidly. However, there are still obstacles in presenting an interactive and practical tourism experience for visitors. The current tourism website in NTT is still limited in terms of responsiveness, access speed, and offline functionality. This makes it difficult for visitors to get actual information about tourist destinations and limits their interactive experience. This research aims to present a better NTT tourism experience through a website design based on Progressive Web Apps. This website will allow visitors to access tourist information quickly, responsively on various devices, and provide offline functionality that allows visitors to explore tourist destinations without depending on an internet connection. The development approach used in this research is prototyping using the JavaScript programming language, the JSON data format. This method allows the developer to iteratively design, implement, the desired tourist website. Through the development of prototyping with the Progressive Web Apps approach, the research succeeded in designing and implementing a NTT tourism website that is responsive, fast, and allows offline use. Visitors can access real-time information about NTT tourist destinations, explore photo galleries, see a list of nearby lodgings, and easily plan their trips. The use of Progressive Web Apps on tourism websites in NTT has positive implications in enhancing the tourist experience of visitors. With offline functionality, visitors can access tourist information continuously without depending on a stable internet connection. In addition, the use of prototyping and the latest technologies such as JavaScript, and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) can help developers design and implement travel websites that are more sophisticated and in accordance with the needs of visitors.

Perkembangan teknologi web telah membawa dampak positif bagi industri pariwisata. Di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), wisata merupakan salah satu sektor utama yang berpotensi untuk berkembang pesat. Namun, masih terdapat kendala dalam menghadirkan pengalaman wisata yang interaktif dan praktis bagi pengunjung.Website wisata yang ada saat ini di NTT masih terbatas dalam hal responsivitas, kecepatan akses, dan fungsionalitas offline. Hal ini menyulitkan pengunjung dalam mendapatkan informasi aktual mengenai destinasi wisata dan membatasi pengalaman interaktif mereka.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan pengalaman wisata NTT yang lebih baik melalui rancang bangun website berbasis Progressive Web Apps. Website ini akan memungkinkan pengunjung untuk mengakses informasi wisata dengan cepat, responsif di berbagai perangkat, serta memberikan fungsionalitas offline yang memungkinkan pengunjung menjelajahi destinasi wisata tanpa tergantung koneksi internet.Pendekatan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah prototyping dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript, format data JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). Metode ini memungkinkan pengembang untuk secara iteratif merancang, mengimplementasikan, website wisata yang diinginkan. Melaluipengembangan prototyping dengan pendekatan Progressive Web Apps, penelitian berhasil merancang dan mengimplementasikan website wisata NTT yang responsif, cepat, dan memungkinkan penggunaan offline. Pengunjung dapat mengakses informasi tentang destinasi wisata NTT secara real-time, menjelajahi galeri foto, melihat daftar penginapan terdekat, serta merencanakan perjalanan mereka dengan mudah. Penggunaan Progressive Web Apps dalam website wisata di NTT memberikan implikasi positif dalam meningkatkan pengalaman wisata pengunjung. Dengan adanya fungsionalitas offline, pengunjung dapat mengakses informasi wisata secara terus-menerus tanpa tergantung pada koneksi internet yang stabil. Selain itu, penggunaan prototyping dan teknologi terkini seperti JavaScript, dan JSON dapat membantu pengembang dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan website wisata yang lebih canggih dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengunjung.
