Abstract

Abstract.

BBWS (Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai) is a technical implementation unit in the field of water resources conservation, water resources development, water resources utilization, and water resources control in river areas that affect flooding in Semarang City. One of the rivers that have an impact on flooding in the city of Semarang is the East Kanal Flood River. Every rainy season, flooding often occurs and disturbs the community along the river. Therefore, BBWS needs an early warning system to inform local residents about the possibility of flooding in the area. The system development carried out by the author at BBWS Pemali Juana is an internet of things-based Management Early Warning System that can detect water levels and currents that increase early through the website. The method used is Waterfall, while the software used includes a framework, which uses bootstrap, database processing using MySQL. The data managed in the database is interconnected with the web page. The results obtained from the research for this development are the design of the Management Early Warning System successfully developed and the design of Monitoring successfully running in accordance with the needs of BBWS to monitor the status of the water level of the Flood Canal River. With this system, it is hoped that the community can be more prepared and responsive in facing the threat of flooding and reducing the losses caused by flooding.

Abstrak

BBWS (Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai) adalah unit pelaksana teknis & bidang konservasi Sumber Daya Air, pengembangan Sumber Daya Air, Pendayagunaan Sumber Daya Air, dan pengendalian Sumber Daya Air pada wilayah sungai yang berdampak banjir di Kota Semarang. Salah satu sungai yang berdampak banjir di Kota Semarang yaitu Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur,tiap musim hujan sering terjadi banjir dan meresahkan masyarakat di sepanjang sungai.Oleh karena itu, BBWS memperlukan sistem peringatan dini untuk menginformasikan warga sekitar mengenai kemungkinan terjadinya banjir di daerah tersebut. Pengembangan sistem yang dilakukan penulis di BBWS Pemali Juana adalah Management Early Warning Sistem berbasis internet of things yang dapat mendeteksi tinggi air dan arus yang meningkat secara dini melalui website. Metode yang digunakan Waterfall, sedangkan Software yang digunakan antara lain framework, yakni menggunakan bootstrap, pengolahan database menggunakan MySQL. Data yang dikelola dalam database saling terkoneksi dengan halaman website. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan Management Early Warning Sistem berhasil dikembangkan dan perancangan Monitoring berhasil berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan BBWS untuk memantau status ketinggian air Sungai Banjir Kanal.Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat lebih siap dan tanggap dalam menghadapi ancaman banjir dan mengurangi kerugian yang ditimbulkan akibat banjir.
