PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI MONITORING PEKERJAAN TECHNICAL SUPPORT BERBASIS WEB DI PT.DATA UTAMA NET SEMARANG

Abstract

Abstract.
This research was conducted at PT.Data Utama Net, a company engaged in the field of
internet service providers and network access providers based on "TOTAL IT SOLUTION".
The purpose of this research is to build a web-based technical support job monitoring
information system at PT.Data Utama Net in Semarang City. The method used in the
development of this information system is the waterfall method. The resulting information
system can display data on the results of work that has been input by technical support, which
allows companies to view reports on the results of technical support work, especially the
helpdesk so that they can help solve problems that exist in reports that have been input by
technical support. At the end of this research, a web-based technical support job monitoring
information system was successfully developed at PT. Net Main Data using codeigniter 4
framework, which is also equipped with documentation. The conclusion of this entire research
is the successful creation of a prototype of a web-based technical support job monitoring
information system using the codeigniter4 framework.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT.Data Utama Net, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang
penyedia layanan internet dan penyedia akses jaringan berbasis "TOTAL IT SOLUTION".
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun sistem informasi monitoring pekerjaan technical
support berbasis web di PT.Data Utama Net di Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam
pengembangan sistem informasi ini adalah metode waterfall. Sistem informasi yang dihasilkan
dapat menampilkan data hasil pekerjaan yang telah di input oleh technical support, yang
memungkinkan perusahaan untuk melihat laporan dari hasil pekerjaan technical support
terutama helpdesk agar dapat membantu menyelesaikan problema yang ada pada laporan
yang telah di input oleh technical support. Pada akhir penelitian ini, sistem informasi monitoring
pekerjaan technical support berbasis web berhasil dikembangkan di PT. Data Utama Net
dengan menggunakan framework codeigniter4, yang juga dilengkapi dengan dokumentasi.
Kesimpulan dari keseluruhan penelitian ini adalah berhasil terciptanya prototipe dari sistem
informasi monitoring pekerjaan technical support berbasis web dengan menggunakan
framework codeigniter4.
