Sistem Informasi Kecamatan Berbasis Website pada Kecamatan Kebonagung

Abstract

The sub-district is an administrative unit that plays an important role in governance at the local level. However, data and information management at the sub-district level is still often done manually, which results in low efficiency and accuracy. Therefore, this research aims to develop a web-based sub-district information system that can facilitate the management of administrative data and public information more effectively and efficiently. This information system uses the PHP programming language, MySQL database, CodeIgniter Framework, with a Rapid Application Development (RAD) method approach. The system includes various main modules, such as public information management, administrative support, geospatial data collection, and statistical analysis. The RAD method was chosen because it enables rapid and flexible system development through continuous iteration and prototyping. In this research, the development process is divided into several stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, prototype development, testing, and implementation. The resulting system is able to provide real-time information. The implementation results show that this web-based sub-district information system is able to improve the efficiency of data and information management at the sub-district level, accelerate the public service process, and provide more accurate and easily accessible data. This system can be a solution to improve government performance at the sub-district level and provide better services to the community.

Abstrak

Kecamatan merupakan unit administratif yang memainkan peran penting dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan di tingkat lokal. Namun, pengelolaan data dan informasi di tingkat kecamatan masih sering dilakukan secara manual, yang menghasilkan efisiensi dan akurasi yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi kecamatan berbasis web yang dapat memfasilitasi pengelolaan data administrasi dan informasi publik dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Sistem informasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL, Framework CodeIgniter, dengan pendekatan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Sistem ini mencakup berbagai modul utama, seperti manajemen informasi publik, dukungan administratif, pengumpulan data geospasial, dan analisis statistik. Metode RAD dipilih karena memungkinkan pengembangan sistem yang cepat dan fleksibel melalui iterasi dan prototipe yang berkelanjutan. Dalam penelitian ini, proses pengembangan dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan prototipe, pengujian, dan implementasi. Sistem yang dihasilkan mampu menyediakan informasi secara real-time. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi kecamatan berbasis web ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data dan informasi di tingkat kecamatan, mempercepat proses pelayanan publik, serta menyediakan data yang lebih akurat dan mudah diakses. sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemerintahan di tingkat kecamatan dan memberikan layanan yang lebih baik kepada masyarakat.
