Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Kecamatan Berbasis Website pada Kecamatan Mranggen

Abstract

Mranggen district is one of the districts in Demak district, Central Java. Mranggen district is one of the government agencies that operate in the field of public service, but in the service of the public this is still not maximum. One of the obstacles is that the official website of Mranggen district is not yet available. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the official site of Mrangeen district in order to facilitate access to information for the public. To develop a web-based information system on Mranggen Department the author uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database management system. System design process using UML (Unfield Modeling Language) such as use case, activity diagram, Class diagram. This information system is designed to provide information to the public about the various administrative services provided by the emergency services office, such as the preparation of SKCK application, the recommendation of a home certificate, a recommendation letter of introduction of the crowd to the polsek/ polres, and others. The method used in this study is using the waterfall method. The results of the system development show that the implementation of this web-based information system is able to reduce the time required for administrative processes, and improve the transparency of services. Thus, the development of this web-based information system is expected to be an effective model to be applied in other circumstances in order to improve the overall quality of public service.

Abstrak

Kecamatan Mranggen merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Demak, Jawa Tengah. Kecamatan Mranggen merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintah yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan masyarakat, namun dalam pelayanan masyarakat ini masih belum maksimal. Salah satu kendalanya yaitu belum tersedianya website resmi Kecamatan Mranggen. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengembangan website resmi Kecamatan Mranggen untuk mempermudah akses informasi bagi masyarakat. Untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web pada Kecamatan Mranggen penulis menggunakan bahasa pemprograman PHP dan sistem manajemen basis data MySQL. Proses perancangan sistem menggunakan UML (Unfield modeling Language) seperti use case, activity diagram, Class diagram. Sistem informasi ini dirancang untuk menyediakan informasi bagi masyarakat terhadap berbagai layanan administrasi yang disediakan oleh kantor kecamatan, seperti pembuatan permohonan SKCK, rekomendasi surat keterangan domisili, rekomendasi surat pengantar ijzin keramaian ke polsek/ polres, dan lain lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode waterfall. Hasil dari pengembangan sistem menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem informasi berbasis web ini mampu mengurangi waktu yang diperlukan untuk proses administrasi, dan memperbaiki transparansi pelayanan. Dengan demikian, pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model yang efektif untuk diterapkan di kecamatan lain dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik secara keseluruhan.
