Implementasi Sistem Informasi Goegrafis Data Survei Industri Besar Sedang (IBS) pada BPS Kabupaten Batang Berbasis Web

The Large and Medium Industry Survey by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) collects data regarding the number, type, distribution and characteristics of industries in a region. In 2024, this survey will be carried out from May to July. Information technology, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), plays an important role in the modernization of these surveys. Creating a web-based GIS for Medium Large Industry (IBS) survey data at BPS Batang Regency aims to overcome challenges in identifying and understanding survey locations. This system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with various web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL, as well as tools such as Visual Studio Code, MySQL, XAMPP, and Quantum GIS (QGIS). The result is a system that presents geographic data in an exploratory and interactive manner, making it easier for BPS employees to access survey location information, understand geographic conditions, and support the process of collecting and analyzing survey data. With this web-based GIS, it is hoped that the IBS survey in Batang Regency can be carried out more effectively and efficiently, as well as improving the quality of the data produced
Abstrak
Survei Industri Besar dan Sedang oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mengumpulkan data mengenai jumlah, jenis, sebaran, dan karakteristik industri di suatu wilayah. Pada tahun 2024, survei ini dilaksanakan dari Mei hingga Juli. Teknologi informasi, seperti Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG), memainkan peran penting dalam modernisasi survei ini. Pembuatan SIG berbasis web untuk data survei Industri Besar Sedang (IBS) di BPS Kabupaten Batang bertujuan mengatasi tantangan dalam mengidentifikasi dan memahami lokasi survei. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan berbagai bahasa pemrograman web seperti HTML, CSS, PHP, dan SQL, serta tools seperti Visual Studio Code, MySQL, XAMPP, dan Quantum GIS (QGIS). Hasilnya adalah sistem yang menyajikan data geografis secara eksploratif dan interaktif, memudahkan pegawai BPS dalam mengakses informasi lokasi survei, memahami kondisi geografis, serta mendukung proses pengumpulan dan analisis data survei. Dengan adanya SIG berbasis web ini, diharapkan survei IBS di Kabupaten Batang dapat dilaksanakan lebih efektif dan efisien, serta meningkatkan kualitas data yang dihasilkan.
