Abstract

Abstract. This study was to improve students abilities in learning sprinting, using classroom action methods. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive.

The results, from a number of 40 students, on the initial ability test, who understood and were able to perform fast running movements from start to finish were obtained by 7 people (17.5%). In the final ability test, 37 people (92.5%) had already understood, appreciated and mastered the sprint skills. Thus there is a significant increase, proving that the style of teaching exercises can improve abilities and improve learning sprinting.
