Melacak Sejarah Situs Monumen Nasional dan Pemanfaatan sebagai Sumber Pembelajaran Sejarah di SMA

Abstract

National Monument which is a cultural heritage site that has  historical value as  one  of the  relics of President Soekarno as a marker of the greatness of the city of Jakarta at that time. Seeing that the historical site of the National Monument has a very large historical value, this research tries to analyze the historical traces of the National Monument and its use as a learning resource in history learning in High School Class XII. The problems that will be discussed in this article: (1) What is the brief history of the National Monemun? (2) How the history of the National Monument can be used as a source of history learning in high school. The research method used in writing this article is Qualitative with a literature study approach. Data collection is carried out by reviewing several documents that are tied to the theme of research and data analysis is descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that the use of the history of National Monuments can be used as one of the deepening of the material in history textbooks. Materials related to the history of the construction of the National Monument can be harmonized in the materials of the class XII history textbook in the chapter Guided Democracy.
