PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN VIDEO MENGGUNAKAN WHATSAPP DAN YOUTUBE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT SISWA MATERI PENCAK SILAT KELAS VIII SMP 3 JEKULO

Abstract

This research is based on online learning, students find many obstacles that cause student's lack of interest in participating in online learning. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage students to move students so that student's interest in learning can increase. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in student's interest in learning to use Whatsapp and Youtube in learning physical education for Class VIII SMP 3 Jekulo. This research method uses quantitative research methods. The type of research is a quasi-experimental design using a two group pre-test post-test design research design with random sampling technique. The use of WhatsApp video learning media in physical education lessons can increase student interest in learning in class VIII A there is an increase in interest in learning by 9,56%. While the YouTube video learning media in physical education lessons can increase student interest in learning in class VIII B, there is an increase in learning interest by 4.40%. The increase in learning interest results when using whatsapp video learning media is higher than Youtube videos, then the application of whatsapp video learning media is more effective in increasing student interest in learning in physical education lessons for Class VIII SMP 3 Jekulo. This research is expected to increase student's interest in learning as a student's motivation in learning physical education.
