Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Sosial dan Pergaulan Teman Sebaya terhadap Hasil Belajar pada Siswa Kelas Xii IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of social media and peer association on the learning outcomes of class XII IPS Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara students. The method used in this research is a survey with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 139 students of class XII IPS Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) The use of social media had a negative and significant effect on student learning outcomes in class XII IPS Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara as indicated by t-count -3, 803 > t-table 1.824 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 . (2) Peer association has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes in class XII IPS Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara as indicated by t-count 4.911 > t-table 1.824 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. (3) The use of social media and peer association together has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes in class XII IPS Negeri 1 Bawang Banjarnegara as indicated by F-count 24,281 > F-table 3.172 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05
