Abstract

Ayu Indah Tawakalni “Strategy for the Development of Pancur Cave Tourism Objects in Increasing the Income of the Jimbaran Village Community, Pati Regency” Faculty of Social Sciences and Sports and Education, PGRI University Semarang, 2022. This research was motivated by the lack of utilization of the Pancur Cave tourist attraction, the Pancur Cave facilities and infrastructure which caused visitor discomfort and its impact on increasing the income of the Jimbaran Village community. The formulations of the problem in this researchis how to develop the tourism potential of Pancur Cave? How is the use of Pancur Cave tourism in increasing the income of the Jimbaran Village community? This research method is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study the sellers, visitors to the Pancur Cave tourist attraction and the residents of Jimbaran. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and dokumentation. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model which includes data collection, data condesation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verifing. The results show that the strategy for developing the Pancur Cave tourist attraction is to increase human resources, increase cooperation with investors, improve tourist objects, increase tourist events. Improve facilities and infrastructure, increase promotion and marketing and arrange tourist attraction accessibility routes. The Pancur Cave area is intended for tourism activities without neglecting environmental sustainability. The tourism activities offered are outbond activities, cave tours, culinary tours and souvenirs at tourist attractions that can increase the income of the people of Jimbaran Village by becoming tour guides, restaurant businesses, stalls and selling souvenirs and special foods.
