The development of the coffee industry in Pemalang is getting better marked by the increasing number of coffee shops in Pemalang and followed by the increae in people who work as baristas. The growth of the coffee industry and the barista profession in Pemalang is marked by the existence of a barista community. This study aims to explain the role and impact of the barista community on the coffee industry in Pemalang. The object of this research is the community of sincere coffee relative. This research is a qualitative research with qualitative descriptive analysis method that uses data collection such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used trianguation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of the sincere coffee relative community in the coffee industry in pemalang consists of several things, namely a facilitative role, an educative role, a representative role, and a technical role. Of these four roles, the facilitative role, the educative role, and the representative role are the three roles that have the greatest impact on the Pemalang coffee industry.The impact of the role of the community, namely the economic impact and social impact. The economic impact of the role of the sincere coffee community in the coffee industry is the increase in the income of business actors, while the social impacts include solidarity between baristas, improve insight and skill baristas, and many people are aware of the existence of coffee businesses in Pemalang.
