PENGARUH STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI ORANG TUA DAN EFIKASI DIRI TERHADAP MINAT MELANJUTKAN KE PERGURUAN TINGGI PADA SISWA SMA PGRI 1 PATI

Abstract

The background of the research is due to the different economic status of parents and self-efficacy. In this study, there is a problem formulation that is whether there is an influence of parents' socioeconomic status and self-efficacy on their interest in continuing their education to the University than the students of SMA PGRI 1 Pati. The aim is to examine what the effect of the parents' economy and self-efficacy on students' interest when they will continue to university than students of SMA PGRI 1 Pati. This researcher uses a quantitative approach, the population of all class XII students of SMA PGRI 1 Pati in 2022/2023, the sample used is 179 respondents, then using the help of IBM SPSS 25. The results obtained are (1) found a positive and insignificant effect between status socio-economic status of parents on their interest in continuing to college. (2) It was found that there was no significant negative effect between self-efficacy and interest in continuing to college. (3) it was found that there was no significant positive effect between parents' socioeconomic status and self-efficacy on interest in continuing to college
