ANALISIS MINAT DAN MOTIVASI MASYARAKAT DALAM OLAHRAGA SEPATU RODA DI KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

Roller skating is a modern sport that is developing. Community participation in roller skating training has various reasons, both internal and external reasons. This research is motivated by the public's interest and motivation towards roller skating which is still unknown, so a study was conducted to determine how high the interest and motivation of the community to participate in roller skating, especially in the city of Semarang. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative research through survey method which is conducted directly by distributing questionnaires in paper form. The variables used in this study are people's interest and motivation to participate in roller skating. The population in this study is the skate community in the city of Semarang, the sampling technique used in this study is total sampling or the entire population is sampled. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage. The results showed that public interest in rollerblading in the city of Semarang was in the high category with a percentage of 87%, while people's motivation for roller-skating in the city of Semarang was in the high category with a percentage of 87%. For the overall results in this study obtained a percentage of 88% which is included in the very high category.
