This research was motivated by they seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Banyuputih who hade low scores on the volleyball material, especially passing, namely there were students who did not meet the criteria had not shown the expected results. Most of the students’ learning outcomes have not of met the minium. Completness criteria (KKM) that have been set by the school, which is 70. The problem studied in this study is how the us of learning models using TGT and STAD is able to improve volleyball learning out comes for class VII students of SMPN 1 Banyuputih with a sample of 30 students of class VII A, and 29 students of class VII B. This type of research is a research study. Quantitative in the form of Quasi Experiment Design with the form of Two- Group Pretest- Posttest Design. The result of the study can be conclude that they TGT learning model is able to improve the learning outcomes of passing down volleyball in seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Banyuputih. The start learning model is able to improve the bottom-passing learning putcomes of volleyball in class VII SMPN 1 Banyuputih.
