Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of good dribbling agility of SSB Cobra United Bogares players seen in dribbling under pressure conditions against players often making mistakes when doing poor ddribbling resulting in many balls regardless of mastery and the agility ability of players is very slow, often players collide and the ball can be seized by opposing players due to the lack of training techniques that are less effective and lass varied. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Illinois agility and envelope training on the results of dribbling agility in male players of SSB Cobra United Bogares KU-17 years. The research design uses the method experiment with design Two Groups Pretest and Posttest. The population in this study were 16 male players SSB Cobra United Bogares are 15-17 years. The sampling technique of this study used saturated sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 16 players. The reseach instrument was a dribbling test.

Based on the analysis shows 1) the illinois agility exercise obtained the value of t count 5.979 > t table 2.365 and Sig. 0.001 < 0.05 it was stated that there was a significant effect, 2) the envelope exercise obtained the value of t count 7.003 > t table 0.000 and Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 it was stated that there was a significant effect, 3) the difference in the effect of the two exercise obtained an increase in the percentage of dribbling agility results with illinois agility training of 8.04% and evelope training of 6.76%. Thus, it can be concluded that illinois agility training has a better effect on increasing dribbling agility results in SSB Cobra United Bogares KU-17 soccer pkayers than envelope training. Suggestion for other similar researchers to vary and develop again the illinois agility and evelope training in improving the dribbling agility of soccer players.
