Abstract

Practical courses certainly relate to student physical activity. Good endurance can support the achievement of good lectures. The formulation of the problem is how the aerobic endurance index of new students in the Physical Education and Health Education Program (PJKR) academic year 2019/2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the aerobic endurance index of the sample. The research method uses descriptive quantitative with a total of 238 research subjects in the 2019/2020 academic year study program. The instrument test uses a bale test which is to see the aerobic incline capacity (VO2max). the results of the study or the data obtained, the aerobic endurance of category samples was medium 96 samples (40%), good 60 samples (25%), less 54 samples (23%), 26 samples less (11%) and very good 2 samples (1%). the conclusion that the aerobic endurance index of new students in the Physical Education and Recreational Education study program is as follows: category samples were medium 96 samples (40%), good 60 samples (25%), 54 samples (23%) less, 26 samples (11) %) and excellent 2 samples (1%). Suggestions that the authors can give for samples that maintaining conditions with a healthy lifestyle will affect good recovery ability.
