Abstract

This study aims to analyze visual illustrations in physic textbooks for SMA/MAK grade X static and dynamic fluid material based on aspects of graphic textbook according to BSNP. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data retrieval is done using interview methods and questionnaires. Presentation of descriptive narrative data. The sample used is three grade X SMA/MAK physic textbooks. The results of this study indicate that the suitability of book 1 with the graphic aspects of the indicator simplifies and clarifies the understanding of students with percentage 64,44% and percentage 70,55% in the illustration of content indicators creates attraction. Suitability of book 2 with the graphic aspects of the indicator simplifying and clarifying the understanding of students with percentage 69,99% and percentage 68,60% in the indicator of content illustrations giving attraction. Suitability of book 3 with the graphic aspects of the indicator simplifying and clarifying the understanding of students with percentage 63,88% and percentage 67,78% in the indicator of content illustrations giving attraction. So that in visual illustration indicators clarify and simplify students understanding, book 2 can be categorized more accordingly and in the illustration of content indicators giving attraction, book 1 which is categorized as more appropriate.
