Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Berbantuan Alat Peraga Tabung Resonansi Horizontal terhadap Keterampilan Generik Sains Siswa

The purpose of this research to determine the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model assisted by horizontal resonance tube props against students Generic Science Skills of class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 15 Semarang. The research design uses True Experimental Design with two variables, namely the inquiry learning model assisted by horizontal resonance tube props as independent variables and Generic Science Skills as the dependent variable. The population in this research were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 15 Semarang, amounting to 249 students. The sample in the research were students of class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class totaling 33 students and students of class XI IPA 2 as a control class totaling 30 students. The research instrument used was an observation sheet that was adjusted to nine indicators of Generic Science Skills. Data is collected by conducting observations carried out by observers when students carry out lab work / experiments. Analysis of experiment class observation sheets obtained an average of 81.07% with excellent criteria and control class 57.41% with fairly good criteria. Statistical analysis showed the value of tcount 0,000 < ttable 0,05 with a significance level α = 0,05, so that it refused H0 and accepted Ha. The existence of a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, the inquiry learning model assisted by horizontal resonance tube props is effective against student’s Generic Science Skills
