The phenomenon of string vibrations is a partial differential equation that depends on position and time. The answer to the differential equation is very sensitive to the initial value. When the initial value is chosen to be the same condition as the wave equation, this is referred to as the resonance mode. The answer to the wave equation is an infinite series involving sinusoidal functions. Due to the selection of the resonance mode, the answer obtained was reduced to only one tribe. Therefore, physic variables such as the wave number k and frequency f can be formulated.
