Abstract

Has been developed a heat transfer props for conduction, convection, and radiation experiments in a set of digital based devices from heat transfer labs that still use simple and analog props. The method used in this research is the development or R & D (Research and Development). The research that developed the development of props with LM35 temperature sensor. Testing of these props is done by testing a sensor consisting of a temperature sensor calibration testing, expert validation and test products. Experiments done by experimenting product heat transfer by conduction, the conduction experiments using three kinds of materials: copper, iron, and aluminum. Radiation experiments using the principle of color radiation and convection experiment using the principles of the natural flow of air. Data collection was performed 3 times. Research data indicate that the props on trial conduction heat transfer has a 96.35% accuracy, 79.03% radiation, convection air flow occurs naturally when a candle on the light conditions. The results of gain expert validation criteria very well with the average of 78.12% and the validator can be said to be reliable with PA 87.97%
