Abstract

Abstract - The Community and Village Empowerment Service of Brebes Regency is one of the agencies having a position, its duties and functions are regulated by law. The Community and Village Empowerment Service is one element implementers in the field of community and village empowerment, such as village development and village fund allocation are led by a Head of the Department domiciled under and responsible to the Regent through the Regional Secretary. The Community and Village Empowerment Service of Brebes Regency wants to implement its institution in the field of information technology which aims to provide understanding in the form of information to the public regarding the institution about its functions, duties and positions so that it is more transparent and known to the public, especially in the Brebes Regency area.

                This research was conducted by utilizing the available resources as a tool to overcome existing problems. It is expected that with the creation of a profile website using CMS WordPress, the Department of Community Empowerment and Brebes Regency Village can be an alternative means or media to maximize access to information space for the community, especially Brebes Regency.

Abstrak - Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Brebes merupakan salah satu instansi yang memiliki jabatan, tugas dan fungsinya diatur oleh undang-undang. Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa merupakan salah satu pelaksana unsur di bidang pemberdayaan masyarakat dan desa, seperti pembangunan desa dan alokasi dana desa dipimpin oleh Seorang Kepala Dinas yang berdomisili di bawah dan bertanggung jawab kepada Bupati melalui Sekretaris Daerah. Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Brebes ingin menerapkan lembaganya di bidang teknologi informasi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman berupa informasi kepada masyarakat mengenai lembaga tentang fungsi, tugas dan jabatannya sehingga lebih transparan dan dikenal masyarakat khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Brebes.

                Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya yang tersedia sebagai alat untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Diharapkan dengan dibuatnya website profil menggunakan CMS WordPress, Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Brebes dapat menjadi sarana atau media alternatif untuk memaksimalkan akses ruang informasi bagi masyarakat khususnya Kabupaten Brebes.
