PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MODEL COOPERATIF SCRIPT BERBANTUAN MEDIA ANYFLIP PADA SISWA KELAS X SMK NEGERI 7 SEMARANG

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low skill of writing poetry in class X students of SMK Negeri 7 Semarang. The low skill is caused by the lack of effective learning models and media in teaching. This study aims to describe the improvement of poetry writing skills through the use of cooperative script model assisted by Anyflip media in class X students of SMK Negeri 7 Semarang. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in two cycles. The first cycle consisted of two meetings, one meeting to implement learning using the cooperative script model and one meeting to conduct an evaluation test of poetry writing skills. The second cycle also consisted of two meetings, namely one meeting for the implementation of further learning with the Cooperative Script model assisted by AnyFlip media and one meeting for the final evaluation. This research was conducted  with 35 students of class X as the research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, poetry writing tests, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis was done quantitatively descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the use of cooperative script model can improve students' poetry writing skills. This skill improvement can be seen from the results of the poetry writing test given, where in cycle I the percentage of students' completeness was 54.2%, while in cycle II it increased to 100%. This study indicates that the cooperative script model assisted by Anyflip media is effective in improving poetry writing skills among vocational students.
