This study aims to determine the implementation process and improvement of students' mathematical numeracy literacy results through the problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by wordwall media in class 1A of Tambakrejo 01 Semarang Elementary School. Numeracy literacy is very important for early grade students because it is the basis for understanding the concept of numbers, patterns, and arithmetic operations that are useful in solving problems at the next level. In addition, this ability also encourages the development of logical and systematic thinking in everyday life. The subjects in this study were all 21 students in class 1A. The method used was classroom action research which was carried out in three cycles, each including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests. The results of the study showed an increase in students' mathematical numeracy literacy from 57.14% before the action, to 66.66% in cycle I, 76.19% in cycle II, and reaching 90.47% in cycle III. Thus, the application of the problem based learning assisted by wordwall media has proven effective in improving the mathematical numeracy literacy of class 1A students at Tambakrejo 01 Elementary School, Semarang in the 2024/2025 academic year.
